This model is the original equipment tire for Mazda3 Sedans and Hatchbacks.

Four main grooves within the tread evacuate water from the tire's contact patch to strengthen performance on wet roads, and the Proxes A40's added sipes increase biting edges to strengthen all-season traction. Featuring a variable five pitch tread that reduces road noises, the Proxes A40 is built with a special rubber compound that lowers rolling resistance to help improve fuel efficiency.
